When I was young I stuggled at times with no self esteem or confidence. I was uneasy with talking and being myself in groups of people. Now I have a son who is that way maybe even having a harder time of it and I just don't know the best way to handle this because I do not want him to feel that there is anything wrong with him. I know that when people noticed that I had this problem and they would say something to try and help it would make me feel as if I really has something wrong with me and then I felt even more self conscious and it was harder to deal with at times. Is there any one way I can help him without making him feel like there is anything wrong with him or that he is different.
